Leadership

Who leads Polo Dental

Polo Dental is led on two tracks that are kept deliberately distinct: clinical dental care under Dr. Marianna Zadov, DDS, and business, acquisitions and operations under Simon Leizgold.

Clinical leadership

Dr. Marianna Zadov, DDS

Dentist — Polo Dental, West Palm Beach

Dr. Marianna Zadov is the dentist at Polo Dental. Every examination, diagnosis, treatment plan and treatment delivered at the practice is her clinical responsibility, and clinical judgment is not delegated to the business side of the organization.

Her approach centers on personalized care: understanding a patient's history and goals, explaining findings in plain language, and recommending the most conservative treatment that properly addresses the problem.

Standards of care, materials, clinical technology and how long an appointment needs to be are decided clinically first. Operations then builds the schedule and systems around those requirements — not the other way around.

Business & operations leadership

Simon Leizgold

Manager of Acquisitions & Operations

Simon Leizgold leads the business and operational development of the organization. That covers practice acquisitions, business development, marketing strategy, sales, operational systems, technology implementation, process improvement and long-range strategic planning.

His day-to-day focus is the machinery around care: whether appointments can be booked easily, whether administrative work is fast and accurate, whether the technology the team relies on actually helps, and whether growth is planned with enough capacity behind it.

Simon Leizgold is not a dentist and is not a healthcare provider. He does not examine patients, diagnose conditions, provide clinical dental treatment or give clinical advice. All dental care is provided by Dr. Marianna Zadov, DDS.

How the two sides meet

Why operations is a patient issue

Patients judge a dental practice on two things they experience separately: the quality of the dentistry, and everything around it. Excellent clinical work is undermined by a practice that cannot be reached by phone, sends confusing estimates or runs an hour behind. Equally, a smooth front desk means nothing if the treatment itself is rushed or over-prescribed.

Polo Dental treats those as two disciplines with two leaders. Dr. Zadov owns the clinical standard. Simon Leizgold owns the systems, staffing, technology and planning that make that standard repeatable — including the deliberately unhurried appointment lengths the practice is built around, which only survive if scheduling and capacity are managed properly.

Where the two roles overlap

Decisions that touch both sides — equipment purchases, clinical software, appointment length, how treatment information is communicated, whether the practice is ready to take on additional patients — are made together, with the clinical requirement setting the constraint and operations finding the way to meet it.

Growth without dilution

Acquisition and expansion work sits with Simon Leizgold, and the test applied to it is whether patients would notice any drop in the care or the experience. Systems, administrative standards and technology are integrated first so that growth reads as continuity rather than disruption.
