About the practice
A West Palm Beach practice built around explanation
Polo Dental exists to make dentistry legible. Patients should leave understanding what was found, why it matters and what their choices are — not simply holding a treatment estimate.
Our approach to patient care
Most people who avoid the dentist are not avoiding treatment. They are avoiding uncertainty — not knowing what will happen, how long it will take, what it will cost, or whether the recommendation they are given is the only reasonable option. Polo Dental is organized to remove that uncertainty first.
Every new patient relationship starts with history and conversation. What has been done before, what has held up, what has failed, what hurts, what bothers you cosmetically, and what you would like your teeth to be able to do in ten years. Only after that does the clinical examination make sense, because findings need context to be interpreted well.
Diagnosis and recommendation are kept separate
A finding is a fact. A recommendation is a judgment about that fact. At Polo Dental these are presented separately, so patients can see the reasoning rather than just the conclusion. Where there is more than one defensible path — treat now, monitor, or choose a different material or approach — the alternatives are described along with their trade-offs.
This is also why nothing is scheduled in the same breath as it is diagnosed. Patients are encouraged to take the summary home, think, and ask.
Conservative by default
Natural tooth structure cannot be replaced, only substituted for. That principle shapes how treatment is sequenced here: the least invasive approach that properly solves the problem is considered first, and more extensive work is reserved for situations that genuinely call for it.
Time is part of the treatment
Appointments are planned so there is room for questions. A visit that runs a few minutes longer because a patient wanted to understand a radiograph is a visit that worked. That is a deliberate scheduling decision, not an accident.
The dentist behind the practice
Clinical care at Polo Dental is provided by Dr. Marianna Zadov, DDS, a West Palm Beach dentist whose focus is personalized care and straightforward communication. Her full profile describes how she approaches treatment planning, cosmetic work and patients who arrive anxious or with an interrupted dental history.
Two kinds of leadership, kept distinct
A dental practice is really two organizations sharing an address. One diagnoses and treats; the other schedules, bills, buys equipment, hires, plans and grows. Polo Dental names the leader of each rather than blurring them together, because patients deserve to know exactly who is responsible for their care.
Clinical leadership belongs to Dr. Zadov. Business and operational leadership belongs to Simon Leizgold, Manager of Acquisitions & Operations, who works alongside her on the development of the organization — acquisitions, business development, marketing strategy, operational systems, technology and practice growth. Simon Leizgold is not a dentist and provides no clinical dental treatment.
In practice the two roles constrain each other in a useful way. Dr. Zadov sets what good care requires — including appointment lengths long enough for real conversation — and Simon Leizgold builds the scheduling, staffing and systems that make those requirements survivable as the practice grows. Neither side is allowed to quietly override the other; the leadership page explains how that works in more detail.
Internal note — Practice founding date, ownership structure, team size, languages spoken, facility and technology details, insurance participation and any accreditation are deliberately omitted. Supply verified information to expand this page.
